As a result of operative–search measures and investigative activities initiated by the officers of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia an import attempt of large number of forbidden items to «Armavir» Penitentiary Institution has been prevented.
Particularly, on the 12th of February, 2019 as a result of the examination of the specially prepared hideout 39 mobile phones, dozens of chargers, batteries and headphones have been detected in the back of the refrigerator which was presented as a delivery to the convict V.M. by a citizen of the RA.
The preventive measures have been conducted with the assistance of the penitentiary service of the MJ of the RA.
Materials are being prepared on the case, the circle of related persons is being identified.
