Dear Mrs. Sapeyan,

«News» entitled «will get share» has been published in your newspaper and website, which is misinformation and has nothing to do with the reality and contains «information» of slandering nature.
The 3rd part of Article 1087.1 of the RA Civil Code defines. «Within the meaning of this Code, slander shall be deemed as public communication of factual data (statement of fact) relating to a person, which do not correspond to the reality and disgrace the honour, dignity or business reputation thereof».
At the same time, according to 1st part of Article 8 of RA Law «On Mass Media», «A person has a right to demand that the implementer of media activity refute factual inaccuracies in the information disseminated by the implementer of media activity if the latter does not prove the truth of those facts».
Hereby I strongly refute the part in the said article that pertains to the Director of NSS of RA Mr. Vanetsyan and, in accordance with 8th part of RA Law «On Mass Media», I demand to publish the refutation.
At the same time, I inform that we, in the manner prescribed by RA Legislation, will apply to other means of right protection if the mentioned information is not refuted in the prescribed manner.
Besides, we are open in our work with media, and while publishing any material that has any relation to the activities of the NSS of RA you can always clarify the official view and opinion of the structure in this regard in order to have the whole picture.
