In the first half of 2019, the subdivisions of the Border Guard Troops of RA NSS prevented 52 attempts of violation, with participation of 78 persons, of the state border of RA, detected 42 cases (84 persons) of violation of the boundary regime, 2 cases of violation of the state border regime (3 persons) and 4 cases (5 persons) of violation of the state border checkpoint regime.

Within the mentioned period, 1005 wanted persons were detected at state border checkpoints and handed over to the subdivisions of RA Police in the prescribed manner.

As a result of consistent efforts and strengthening of necessary oversight, in the first half of 2019, the indicators of disciplinary violations and registered incidents at Border Guard Troops of the NSS of RA decreased by 59 %. Within the reported period, 230 servicemen of Border Guard Troops were promoted and 37 servicemen were subjected to disciplinary measures.

In the first half of 2019, active personnel-related works were conducted at Border Guard Troops of RA as a result of which, compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of citizens who joined the service at Border Guard Troops increased by 35%, and by 5% compared to the whole period of the previous year.
