The officials of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia within their functions of combating the crime, on June 16, 2018, have conducted searches in the house, summer house and other premises belonging to MP Manvel Grigoryan.
As a result of the conducted search in the premises belonging to Manvel Grigoryan, large amount of weapons and ammunition, as well as food supplies and other goods sent by the citizens to the foreground of the four-day April war in 2016 was discovered.
Proceeding with the specification of the obtained information, within the cooperation of the RA National Security Service and RA Special Investigative Service, a petition for legal aid was sent to the law authorities of the Artsakh Republic. Within the framework of the petition on June 20, 2018, a search was conducted in the summer house belonging to RA MP Manvel Grigoryan that was located in the “Ara Ler” area neighboring to N military division of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army.
A large amount of canned stewed meat with “Soldier’s share” notice, cigarettes, military underwear and clothing, hygiene items, bandages, petrol, a large amount of 7.62mm and 5.45mm cartridges were revealed.
Even a wreath that didn’t get to its final destination was found in the area belonging to Manvel Grigoryan.
On the same day, on June 20, the National Security Service of the Artsakh Republic conducted operational search in “G-S Plus” LLC, located in Mirzajan district of Askeran city.
The operational search discovered that the leadership of “Yerkrapah Volunteer Union” non-governmental organization misappropriated large-scale food stuffs from the RA Defense Ministry, the Artsakh Republic Defense Army, as well as from various organizations and citizens that was as an assistance provided to April four-day war.
In particular, 25 canned stewed meat with “Soldier’s share” notice, 229 different empty tares, 2537 socks, 19.425 cigarette boxes, 882 pairs of gloves and other goods were revealed.
The investigating activities and operational-intelligence cooperated measures for the full and objective investigation of the facts of the criminal case against Manvel Grigoryan are ongoing.
The preliminary investigation goes on.
Note. A person that is suspected or accused of an alleged crime is considered innocent unless his/her guilt is not proved by court judgment that has come into legal effect pursuant to the procedure determined by RA Criminal Procedure Code.
