WORKING MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS CONDUCTING LABORATORY TESTS TO DETECT CORONAVIRUS DISEASE

At the initiative of the National Security Service of RA, a working meeting was organized with representatives of medical institutions where samples are collected and laboratory tests are carried out to detect the new type of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The working meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Health of RA A. Smbatyan, Acting Head of the Department of Economic Security and Countering Corruption of the National Security Service of RA V. Petrosyan, Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention State Non-Commercial Organization A. Vanyan and other officials.
Representative of the National Security Service of RA V. Petrosyan expressed his gratitude to medical workers for the work organized under martial law and the spread of the pandemic, as well as touched upon the proper and legal conduct of diagnostic tests to detect coronavirus, especially among persons of draft age, emphasizing that in order to exclude false positives, it is necessary to establish stricter surveillance and consistently control the activities of subordinate personnel.
During the meeting, it was also noted that the national security bodies are in control of the operational situation, and if information about such violations is received, all participants in the criminal process will definitely be exposed and held to the fullest extent of the law. To this was added details of the work already done in this direction and even official reports distributed regarding such a case that had a public resonance.
At the end of the working meeting, representatives of the RA Ministry of Health, the RA National Security Service, as well as relevant medical institutions agreed to organize joint work in order to prevent possible shortcomings, omissions and violations within the framework of the discussed agenda item.
