During the reporting period, as a result of the implementation of the functions assigned by law, 1322 materials or primary information were transmitted to various competent state bodies of the RA by the RA National Security Service to determine their further course in the manner prescribed by law, on the basis of which 80 criminal cases were initiated.

138 materials about violations in the economic sphere were sent to the competent state bodies of the RA, some of which are still at the investigation stage, of which 69 are about abuse of official position and misappropriation, 47 are about various violations in the field of economic activity, including smuggling or importation under false invoices, as well as evasion of taxes and duties, 18 - about payment of wages to a person who is not actually working, 4 - about illegal provision of compensation.

36 materials about violations committed in the area of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances were sent to the competent state bodies of the RA, some of which are still at the investigation stage, of which 19 are about the smuggling of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, 17 are about the illegal use of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances.

During the specified period, 486 criminal cases were in the proceedings of the investigators of the Investigation Department of the RA NSS, of which 238 criminal cases were initiated by investigators of the Department, 145 criminal cases were received from other bodies, 29 criminal cases were resumed, 5 were initiated by the prosecutor of the given region, 1 was returned for additional investigation, and 68 criminal cases were transferred from 2021.

During the reporting period, of the criminal cases investigated in the proceedings of the Investigation Department, 41 criminal cases against 61 persons were sent to the court, 99 criminal cases were terminated, proceedings on 54 criminal cases were suspended, 127 criminal cases were sent under investigative jurisdiction, 30 criminal cases were combined with others criminal cases being investigated in the ID, the preliminary investigation in 135 criminal cases continues.

During the reporting period, in criminal cases, completed and investigated, the damage amounted to 30.182.306.301 AMD, of which the amount caused to the state amounted to 27.871.735.394 AMD, to legal entities – 373.356.815 AMD, and to individuals – 1.937.214.092 AMD.

During the reporting period, at the preliminary investigation stage, a total of 12.750.705.965 AMD was recovered from the mentioned damage, of which the amount caused to the state was 12.480.134.748 AMD, and to legal entities – 270.251.217 AMD.
