On the progress of the prepared materials and initiated criminal cases in the National Security Bodies of the RA, as well as the transfer of primary information to other competent bodies during the first half of 2022

During the reporting period, as a result of the implementation of the functions assigned to them by law, 1322 materials or primary information was transferred to various competent state bodies of RA by the National Security Service of RA to determine their further course in the manner prescribed by law, on the basis of which 227 criminal cases were initiated.

138 materials were sent to the competent state bodies of RA on violations in the economic sphere, some of which are still under investigation, of which 69 are on abuse of official position and embezzlement, 47 are on various violations in the field of economic activity, including for smuggling or importation under false invoices, as well as tax and duty evasion, 18 - payment of wages to an actually not working person, 4 - illegal provision of compensation.

36 materials were sent to the competent state bodies of RA on violations committed in the field of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, some of which are still under investigation, of which 19 are on the smuggling of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, 17 are on the illegal use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

During the mentioned period, there were 486 criminal cases in the proceedings of the investigators of the Investigation Department of the NSS of RA, of which 238 criminal cases were initiated by the investigators of the Department, 145 criminal cases were received from other bodies, 29 criminal cases were resumed, 5 -were initiated by the prosecutor of the given district, 1 -was returned for additional investigation, and 68 criminal cases were transferred from 2021.

During the reporting period, out of the investigated criminal cases, in the proceedings of the Investigation Department, 41 criminal cases against 65 persons were sent to the court, 99 criminal cases were dismissed, proceedings in 54 criminal cases were suspended, 127 criminal cases were sent according to the criminal subordination, 30 criminal cases were merged with other criminal cases under investigation in the Investigation Department, the preliminary investigation of 135 criminal cases continued.

During the reporting period, in criminal cases completed and investigated, the damage amounted to 30.182.306.301 AMD, of which the amount caused to the state was 27.871.735.394 AMD, to legal entities - 373.356.815 AMD, and to individuals - 1.937.214.092 AMD.

At the preliminary investigation stage, a total of 12.750.705.965 AMD was recovered from the said damage, of which 12.480.134.748 AMD - to the state and 270.251.217 AMD- to legal entities.
