Taking into account the groundless and blatant criticism of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia regarding the extradition to Turkey of Atilla Çiçek and Hüseyin Yildirim, Kurds by nationality, through various media by some persons engaged in social and political activities, we inform that the false news being disseminated not only does not correspond to reality, but also have no legal basis: by this they are trying to target the Service.

It is reported that the process of extradition of convicted persons within the framework of the criminal proceedings is beyond the authority of the Service. The National Security Service urges to refrain from unacceptable modus operandi of spreading disinformation that discredits the authority of state structures and undermines the external security of the country and warns that the Service, within its powers, through verification actions, will pursue the disseminators of fictitious news to find out the true motives and hidden aspirations.
