Regarding the transfer of primary information by the National Security Service of RA to other competent authorities, as well as on the movement of initiated criminal proceedings during January-September 2022

During the reporting period, as a result of the implementation of the functions assigned by law, 1596 materials were transferred to various competent state bodies of the Republic of Armenia by the National Security Service of RA, on the basis of which 334 criminal proceedings were initiated.

194 materials were sent to the competent state bodies of RA on violations in the economic sphere, some of which are still under investigation, of which 92 are about abuse and misappropriation of official powers, 72 are about various violations of economic activity, including for smuggling or illegal import on false invoices, as well as on tax and duty evasion, 23 - on the payment of wages to an actually not working person, 7-on illegal provision of compensation.

55 materials were sent to the competent state bodies of RA on violations in the field of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, some of which are still under investigation, of which 29 are on the smuggling of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances or misappropriation, 26 are on the illegal consumption of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances.

During the indicated period, there were 694 criminal proceedings in the proceedings of the investigators of the Investigation Department of the NSS RA, of which 358 criminal proceedings were initiated by the investigators of the Department, 220 criminal proceedings were received from other bodies, 48 criminal proceedings were resumed, and 68 criminal proceedings were transferred from 2021

During the reporting period, out of the investigated criminal cases being processed by the Investigation Department, 60 criminal proceedings against 88 persons were sent to the court, 108 were terminated, 54 were suspended, 272 criminal proceedings were sent under investigative jurisdiction, 79 criminal proceedings were merged with other criminal proceedings under investigation in the Investigation Department, the preliminary investigation of 121 criminal proceedings is ongoing.

According to the preliminary assessment, during the mentioned period, according to the criminal proceedings initiated and investigated by the Investigation Department of the RA NSS, the total amount of damage caused by crimes amounted to 31.490.134.199 AMD, of which the amount of initial damage caused to the state amounted to 29.146.931.040 AMD, for legal entities - 384.639.069 AMD, and for individuals - 1.958.564.090 AMD.

At the same time, at the preliminary investigation stage, 14.351.883.303 AMD was recovered from the specified damage caused to the state,  and 270.571.217 AMD from the damage caused to legal entities.
