1. According to the agreements reached in August 2022, from April 1, 2023 the Lachin Corridor connecting Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia should end at the Kornidzor bridge. From April 1, the route connecting the territory of RA to the Lachin Corridor must pass only through the territory of RA along the Kornidzor-Tegh route.
2. After August 2022, the section of the road connecting the Lachin Corridor to RA, after the Kornidzor Bridge, again passed through the territory of Azerbaijan. That section of the road along its entire length and the territory adjacent to it was controlled by the peacekeeping forces of RF.
3. According to the agreements reached the day before between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the border guards of the two countries in the last days of March were to be deployed on both sides of the border along the entire length of the aforementioned section.
4. During the deployment, discrepancies in the maps were revealed. In some places, the Azerbaijani side, without waiting for pre-arranged adjustments, began to deploy and carry out engineering work.
5. According to the calculations of the Armenian side, there are five such points, where the Azerbaijani side has advanced 100-300 meters from the border line. At the moment, an agreement has been reached that cartographers from both sides will bring clarity to the situation.
6. In this situation, the Armenian side adheres to the logic of preventing escalation.
7. The RA army did not have positions in the disputed area, since the positions are not located on the border line, but at the nearest strategic heights. And the protection of this section of the border was to be transferred to the border guard troops, according to the above-mentioned agreement.
