As a result of the procedural actions carried out during the preliminary investigation of criminal proceedings N 58221423, initiated on May 13, 2023 and carried out in the Main Directorate of Investigation of the RA National Security Service, it was established that the company operating in the Republic of Armenia and engaged in the import of fruits through the territory of transit countries - from the Republic of Panama, the Republic of Italy and Georgia to the Republic of Armenia, along with products ordered from a company located in Ecuador, the narcotic drug “cocaine” weighing about one ton (worth about 250 million Euros) was imported, which was detected and is located in the RA National Security Service.

In criminal proceedings, a forensic material examination was ordered, interrogations were conducted, an information request was sent to the competent authorities, and the investigation body was instructed to take operative-search measures.

The preliminary investigation continues.
