A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Scientific-Educational Center of the RA NSS and the Educational Complex of the RA Police in the administrative building of the RA National Security Service.

The memorandum was signed by the head of the Scientific-Educational Center of the RA NSS, Major General Hovhannes Karumyan, and the head of the Educational Complex of the RA Police, Major General Mushegh Babayan.

The main goal of the memorandum is to define the directions of cooperation between the Scientific-Educational Center of the RA NSS and the Educational Complex of the RA Police, as well as to regulate planned joint events.

According to the memorandum, the cooperation between the parties will be carried out in the direction of conducting legal expertise, analysis of drafts of normative legal acts and providing scientifically based advisory opinions on them, joint development and implementation of scientific research topics, mutual involvement of specialists and a number of other directions.

The priorities of the envisaged cooperation will be the need to exchange existing experience in organizing educational and scientific-practical research work of the Educational Complex and the Scientific-Educational Center, as well as in training employees with the required theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Combining the scientific and educational experience of the Scientific-Educational Center of the RA NSS and the Educational Complex of the RA Police, accumulated over the years, will be of significant importance for the activities of the two structures, for finding new solutions in the fight against certain types of crime, for modernizing the legislations regulating the fields and further improvement of the professional knowledge of employees.
