Regarding the video that was distributed on December 5, 2023 by Telman Gasimov, who introduced himself in the expert circles of Azerbaijan as a military expert and Armenologist, a well-known and “serious specialist”, the RA National Security Service reports that Telman Gasimov received the mentioned video back in November 2017 from A.Q., who has dual citizenship, who filmed the building, where T. Gasimov was “born and raised” and sent it to him. However, 6 years later, T. Gasimov, adding his voice to this video through editing, tried to spread panic in the Armenian society through cheap propaganda and thereby raise his “significance” among the Azerbaijani audience.

We urge the “Gasimovs” not to give free rein to their sick imaginations.

We urge the RA media and the population of Armenia to refrain from publishing unverified, fabricated data and materials disseminated by the Azerbaijani propaganda machine, so as not to cause undue tension and panic in the society.

The RA National Security Service assures that the operative situation in various areas is under full control.
