The presentation of the law–enforcement manual entitled "Basics of Operative-Search Activities" published by the decision of the SEC Council was held in the Scientific-Educational Center of the RA NSS.
The work, based on the analysis of experience gained during operative-search activities carried out by the national security bodies of RA and the legislation in this area, as well as the wide application of judicial practice materials, examines the legal and practical aspects of the law enforcement activities of the state. The main concepts of the new criminal procedure legislation are also presented as necessary.
The work is intended not only for operational officers, but also for employees of other law enforcement bodies and persons interested in issues in this area.
The following work published by the decision of the SEC Council is a monograph in 2 volumes by Honored Lawyer of RA, Doctor of Law, Professor Vahe Yengibaryan and Honored Lawyer of RF, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician Anatoly Kustov entitled: "Forensic Science and Practice in Armenia and Russia".
The two-volume work presents the current state of modern forensic science in Armenia and Russia, as well as the achievements of forensic science in the fight against crime and its formation as a science in the late 20th - early 21st centuries.
In the monograph, a special reference was also made to the history of teaching forensic science at the SEC of the RA NSS and to the peculiarities of the process.
The authors of the two-volume monograph, based on the analysis of investigative, expert, prosecutorial and judicial practice, as well as other relevant legal literature, present their point of view on modern teachings and private theories.
Both works describe the practice of using modern forensic capabilities in the process of investigating crimes.
On the same day, a monograph entitled "Minorities in the Drug Business. Crime Investigation Methodology" was also presented, the co-author of which and the author of the chapter "Basics and Features of Operative-Search Activities in Cases of Illegal Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances" is Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Armenia, Doctor of Law, Professor Vahe Yengibaryan.
The book presents the current state of the fight against illegal drug trafficking with the participation of minors in several CIS countries, as well as the private methods of investigating such crimes.
The works have been added to the open library collection of the SEC of the NSS RA.
