On February 28, 2024, at about 5:15 a.m., at the border section of the Tegh community, Syunik province, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, armed with an AKM assault rifle and 1 magazine, crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line. The latter was neutralized by servicemen of the RA Ministry of Defense. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated in the RA Investigative Committee under the relevant articles of the RA Criminal Code.
The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
