In the N unit of the Border Guard Troops of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, the professional holiday was celebrated- the Day of the Border Guard Troops. The solemn ceremony started with the sounds of the RA anthem. On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of its formation, First Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff, colonel Edgar Hunanyan addressed a speech of gratitude to the servicemen of the Border Guard Troops of the RA NSS and thanked them for their selfless service and selfless devotion to the Motherland.

At all times, service on the border has been a matter of special state importance. Today, the Border Guard Troops continue to be a reliable guarantor of the protection of the statehood of the Republic of Armenia, the security of the country and the integrity of its borders. In the current difficult and responsible period of time, when the length of the state border has actually increased, the nature of the threats directed against our country, the security situation and the conditions of service have changed, but, as in the past, at present as well the priority remains the sense of duty to the Motherland, loyalty to traditions and devotion of the Border Guard Troops. The service of the Border Guard Troops is constantly in the center of attention of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the leadership of the National Security Service, as evidenced by the personnel replenishment, training and retraining of troops, as well as consistent logistical re-equipment.

At the end of the solemn ceremony, the conscripts of the Border Guard Troops demonstrated drill techniques with weapons, and the Cynology Center - training with service dogs to detect explosive devices and drugs, neutralizing and detaining a border violator who has gone on the run.
