The National Security Service of RA reports that on June 6, 2024, as a result of a mine explosion in the area adjacent to the Church of the Holy Mother of God in the Voskepar community of the Tavush province of RA, a contract serviceman of the border guard detachment of the Border Guard Troops of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, Sergeant Narek Sergo Gareginyan (born in 2000) was wounded. There is no peril to the life of Narek Gareginyan. He is currently being transported to a medical facility in Yerevan.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
